Fall 2007 - The Season of Geek TV

Geeks shine this year as television embraces all that is geek. There are only 3, really, but for some reason, those 3 feel like 10 or more. It’s just all geek, all the time, or so it seems.
First off, there’s The Big Bang Theory, which may be full of trite nerd jokes, but they are funny nonetheless. I giggle at the commercials every time, no matter how many times I’ve seen it. It’s just dang funny. Hopefully, the entire series will be as well.
Then, there’s Chuck. Mr. Geek Saves The World kind of thing. It too looks funny, in a different way than the first. I have a feeling it will be a harder sell, and may not last as long as The Big Bang Theory, but that’s just a hunch. Time will tell.
Finally, a non-comedy sci-fi time-traveling hero rounds out the geek season with Journeyman. This is for when all you geeks get tired of laughing at your inside jokes about yourselves, and want some serious geekness going on.
